Bad News from NY State.
I did get the final turndown on my NY State bid to the Appellate Court.
Now I can try to go back to the Country District Court and fight on the basis of illegal sentence.
Hope is still there, but it is very faint!
I have so much I want to share with you but I have been so funked out it is difficult to lay it all out.
What I am going to attempt to do is send a bunch of topic type letters over the next couple of weeks to try and break the ice block so to speak. I have so much to tell you, I honestly do not know where to start, and as you know, when I try to write at the speed of thought, the legibility goes out the door.
So on behalf of your eyes, we will try to cover different topics in different letters.
This one, however, is more of the shotgun approach.
Except for family members, all
visitors must have known you before your arrest. You would qualify as an approved visitor since you knew me before I was arrested. My walking buddy and closest friend, Dave, has a 19-year-old daughter who is expecting her first child soon (his first grandchild) and the baby’s father is not eligible to visit since he was not know before my friend got arrested.
Makes sense, right!
I get to spend one hour with my psychologist tomorrow morning. It is a very important time for me. I go about once every three weeks. It used to be once every two weeks, but since January 1 we have stretched it out. It is good to have someone who I can be open with and throw out what is really bothering me!
Could you see if there is a web site for
AIMSE, it sounds like something I would love to do when I get out some day.
