Newspaper subscription.
I had asked Mom and Dad to get the subscription to the local newspaper back in July. I asked about it tonight and Dad started one sentence and then stopped. I heard enough to say, "You knew I was going to ask." Dad said he was wondering if they had more than one zip code. He was going to send a letter to them and ask them to send him a subscription form. I said if you had called 1-800-555-1212 they would probably have a number for it. Dad said he told Mom that. He also said he looked at the local library for it, but they are not like the NY libraries. Duh. Obviously he did not think to ask the librarian because I am sure they would have searched the internet for the info or had a book that lists all of the newspapers printed. The longest distance for the shortest task. Pick up phone, get number, call, give credit card, and voila, I get the paper.
So meanwhile, I still am waiting for the NY Court answer.
