  Adventures in Cooking.
I had my third bowl of homemade spaghetti tonight.

One of the guys (there are three of us that kick in food) had a visit today and got a nice fresh red pepper. We added some chopped onions, a can of sliced mushrooms, spaghetti sauce and a can of whole tomatoes and dinner was served!

All cooked in two hot pots which are sort of like electric coffee pots. They hold about four ounces of spaghetti at a time and just enough sauce to cover it; eight ounces of spaghetti total.

There are a couple of different types of hot pots: all metal vs. all plastic etc. If you get a chance, maybe you could check out Amazon.com.

There is a pot on there that is supposed to be a good deal as opposed to buying direct from the manufacturer. It is an all metal pot, one liter capacity and made by Russell Hobbs. Let me know if you find anything on it.

If you do find anything and you can send me the page that would be nice. They may have different wattages or maximum temperatures. Once you send me the information I will be able to verify exactly what model I can have sent me.

That is our single cooking source. We do not have microwaves here and what people do is join forces and use two to four pots to cook a meal. More specific food adventures to follow once my typewriter arrives.

I am still not able to place a call to Cousin Bill and I can not add your number to the list till my next "review" at the three month mark.

We get to meet with the counselor once every three months and are able to add phone numbers then. I am not sure if your cell phone will pass the test here. The system is telling me that calls to my cousin are blocked by his local service provider. This is a blanket restriction and I sent down two toll-free numbers that are supposed to fix the problem, but I am not sure if it will work. So that is all for now.

Enjoy the rest of the week off if you are reading this before Friday, or else I hope you did enjoy the week off.
