Last NY Times?
Today might be the last day for my NY Times or not. I actually received two papers today, Wednesday and Tuesday. I know that is backwards, but since the line had already printed I could not correct it.
Since I did receive Wednesday's newspaper today, I might not know till Monday if today's paper will show a new expiration date on not. So if you come across any interesting articles over the next few days, please print me a copy. I will confirm as soon as possible when I am back to receiving the paper on a regular basis.
As you can see from the one sample I enclosed, the typewriter moved the highlighted portion of the text from the end of the file to the beginning. I am pretty sure the draft I sent you was correct. When I tried to use the block option to move the text, the print head mechanism started humming. That is certainty not a good sign.
I wonder if I have some flaky ROM or the fact that I never left the machine plugged in for the recommended twenty hours to fully charge the internal battery is the problem. One would think that as long as the cumulative time has been twenty hours, that would be good enough. But then again it might not.
I spent two hours outside walking in the mud and the last of the snow piles, ate their hot dog and tater tots (the cooking room was closed for cleaning), and then finally had a real lunch of rice and tuna.
I have taken my shower at 3:00 PM today, so all I have to do for the rest of the night is type this letter to you. I am going to stick to my guns and type, proof, and then print one page at a time.
Tonight at 8:00 PM is the NY Philharmonic. (I actually looked it up in the dictionary you sent. It was not in the spellchecker but I never bothered to look it up before.)
I am going to type the legal stuff out on its own page so you can post it if you want. Plus I figured I will work on letter stuff first instead of getting all twisted now and not getting the letter stuff done.
