Reading the New York Times and ADD.
Well it is almost 9:00 PM and I just finished reading two days of the New York Times. I am currently receiving all seven days of the paper on a two-day delay.
By Friday of each week I have received the Wednesday paper, and since we do not get mail on Saturday, on Monday I usually receive Thursday to Saturday, with Sunday arriving on Tuesday. Got that?
I have accepted the challenge to actually read the entire newspaper. Okay, I do read each "headline" and find it difficult to stay the course. Tonight I have basically sat in a chair by my bunk and read through the two days of papers, tearing out articles that are of interest to some of the other inmates here, along with things that my parents might be interested in.
The remaining articles are ones I hope to be able to develop some commentary on that will be posted from time to time on this blog.
Okay, I know most of you probably only read my musings to see how much better your life is, but I promise to still include all the gritty details that you have become used to reading.
One change now that I do have my own personal typewriter and all this great reading material is that I will probably write a little less about food.
Although there are some major differences here in New York State that I do need to bring you, my faithful readers up to date on.
I just noticed the heading on this section and realized I forgot to mention that as of now, I have seven days of papers to read. I am a little behind.
