Thanks for keeping contact.
The
9/11 articles you sent were very interesting. One of the things a couple of us inmates talk about here is how the news never digs deep into issues and stories. Knowing NYC and the World Trade Center as I do, it is actually amazing that so few people died! Still, it certainly was a tragedy. I do not know if I mentioned it to you before, but I was on the good old
LIRR heading into NYC the day of
the first WTC bombing in 1993!
Anyhow, I have passed around the articles, and many inmates enjoy them. The books you send are also getting well-read, and we might have to name a library shelf or two after you!
Ever listen to
Car Talk,
Click and Clack, the Tappet Brothers, on
NPR? We get it on the WV public radio station on Saturday morning at 10:00 AM. Funny. That is the lock down time for our Saturday and Sunday special morning counts, so I just lay back and laugh for most of the hour.
Write back soon and do not worry about the length of the letters. Length does not matter. Unless of course you have been listening to some of the commercials they run on
E! during the
Howard Stern Show!
One of the things I would like to be able to do is be able to "
conversate" as the locals here say. Meaning I write about some subject that grabs you, and then I get to respond back. Feel free to pick and choose and schedule things also.
So be happy and smile.
