  I have plenty of books.
So let’s attack your letter. Do not worry about being "brief." Although, did you intend to type four pages? Is four "brief" or like most stuff you do for me, did it take more time than you originally had in mind? As always I appreciate any words from you.

Yeah, the visit missed sucks, but as I wrote my Mom and Dad, if we had not planned on a long stay I would probably still be there. Again all data available said I would be there four to five months. Oh well. Moving on.

Regarding books, I am not sure exactly what they think I have. I actually have twenty books now so another five would be okay.

I was going to buy a dictionary and thesaurus so if you send me those books that would be great. Even if you exceed the limit I would just have to donate the excess to the library. I am very friendly with the three inmates who work in the library so I will be able to get credit for turning in books to them.

But at this moment I am figuring for at least seven to fourteen days I will be doing minimal reading. I have lots of legal work starting in seven to ten days. So if you do not mind holding up for a few weeks after you send one more batch that would be great.

I have been taking it as a matter of discipline to read every book you send as opposed to picking and choosing. So by not flooding me with books I can stick to that plan. I might find I even like something that I would not normally pick from Hamilton or from the library myself. Plus as a future writer, the more topics and styles I read the better, in my not so humble opinion. So send the dictionary and three to five more, and then hold up.

Searching my letters, now that is a cool prospect to be sure. Yes, there is certainly something to be said for keeping up with the data collection phase. I am sure I will be eternally grateful at the running start you have given me. Of course if I am banned from using a computer for a period that would suck, but if that were the case, I would push for approval for a basic system with NO internet. Who knows? If I win this last chance, I would then begin serving the three years Federal supervised release.

But that is why all your work is even more important. Since whenever or however I was allowed to work on a book project I would have a gold mine of stuff ready to dig into.
