  Mail order food catalogs.
You do not sound cruel or selfish.

I have learned that it is important to understand what a person is willing to do and not sweat the rest. Yes, I have occasionally, with tongue in cheek, pointed out the different financial standings we have, but I do not feel entitled to you resources, either time or money.

I will on occasional suggest a use of those resource that may indeed be beneficial to me, but it is only done in a spirit of expressing an option that might not be obvious to you.

In the case of the shopping, I thought I made it clear that there were a range of possibilities, from once in blue moon to more frequently, with my parents possibly providing the support.

I wanted to have a supply of fresh fruit. A noble goal to be sure, but once that became not doable, then I changed my expectations. Instead of depending on the package, it became a gift. But still the only reason I even started down that path is because you had mentioned the possibility of sending a random package.

I am going to type this out and hope the typewriter does not eat it, because I am truly tired of writing all this out. It is not your fault at all. Just that ever-present feeling that sometimes all my woes do not amount to a thimbleful of real life problems. But hey, this is my world.

Okay, it is now 6:45 PM and I just got done proofreading and correcting the first draft. I am going to print out yet another draft to see if I got all the errors.

Now it is 7:16 PM and this poor typewriter is smoking. Over four pages of text! So I will make a pit stop and then read this one final time for accuracy and print yet one more time with a new piece of carbon paper.

One last time; it is now 7:55 PM and hopefully this is a final printing.

One request that you may be able to do is to sign up both my parents and me for any mail order food catalogs you might find. Lots of other states allow food to be sent in and I am fairly sure there must be a few companies that have a selection of foodstuffs that can be ordered. You could simply send me the name and address of any companies and I would request the catalogs directly.

I did send in my latest change of address for my magazines all by myself, but I would appreciate your help with CFO if and when you get a chance. I like that magazine for their take on computers vs. financial, and also it gets me on some great mailing lists.

I do have a bunch of blog stuff to write and will get that in the mail tomorrow!
